There is a robust HSE culture in place in Serimax and we pride ourselves on our HSE performance, which is not only supported and led by our Senior Management Team but executed daily by every one of our employees.   The ongoing commitment to HSE is clearly demonstrated across the organisation with our focus being on behaviours and continual improvement.  This is verified by our employees taking responsibility to practice safe working habits and to support co-workers and others working around them.

WorkSafe underpins our HSE culture both internally and externally, and the concept is based around three key principles, which are:

  1. Safety: It’s all about talking and listening.
    
We all have a responsibility to demonstrate exemplary safety behaviour. We must share our experience and work together to lead by example. By communicating clearly about safety, we can be Incident free.

  2. If you see any hazards or risks, speak up. 
    We all have a responsibility to demonstrate exemplary safety behaviour. Together we must identify hazards and eliminate risks. If you see anything unsafe, do not walk by, speak up, and help us to be Incident free.

  3. Being Incident Free means zero tolerance.
    We all have a responsibility to demonstrate exemplary safety behaviour. And we must never tolerate unsafe behaviour. If we all share an attitude of zero tolerance, then we can work safe and we can be Incident Free.
