Senior management team

Frédéric Castrec
Managing Director
Frédéric has worked for Serimax since 1996. He started with the company as a welding engineer on projects in North Sea and Africa. In 1998 he managed the first offshore projects outside our mother company ETPM (now Subsea 7) as Pescada for Conduto in Brazil and Resak for TL Offshore in Malaysia.
In 2003, Frédéric took on full responsibility for all marine operations, and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2007. In 2011, Frédéric became Managing Director of Serimax.

Jacques Delahousse
Chief Financial Officer
In October 2007, Jacques joined Serimax as Chief Financial Officer. Before he was Regional Chief Officer for Southern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America within Atos Origin : a major international group in the realm of IT services. He has a degree from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, in Economy and Finances.
His career began in 1992 with the audit firm Arthur Andersen and the Lagardère Group. His career path also counts six years by Schlumberger, during which he was based in Rome, Jakarta and Paris.

Kenny Coutts
Vice President, Group Business Development
Kenny is originally from Aberdeen Scotland and began his career in NDT, welding and fabrication in 1978. He graduated in Project Management (MCs) at Aberdeen University before relocating to the Middle East with Halliburton in 1996.
An industry veteran with more than 28 years experience in the oil and gas sector and spent 10 years in the Asia Pacific Region, prior to joining Serimax in December 2008, as Vice President of the EMEA/CIS Region. In November 2009, he was promoted to Vice President, Group Business Development, to help drive sustainable growth and internationalisation at group level.
Helen Dornan
Group HSEQS Manager
Helen is a seasoned HSE professional holding her Chartered membership to IOSH and IIRSM and is a member of the Serimax senior management team.
Helen joined Serimax in August 2006 following her role as Regional HSE Manager for EAFSU with Bredero Shaw. She has a clear directive to lead the business through a step change with our HSE performance and more recently this has extended into taking ownership and leadership of business quality and security.
Helen has generated a number of initiatives supported by senior management and cascaded for regional implementation and engagement helping to deliver a significant and sustainable improvement in our HSEQS performance.

Norbert Poirier
Vice President, Special Sales
Norbert joined the Entrepose division in 1974 (before it became Serimer), where he was instrumental in the development of the Saturne and Saturnax automatic welding systems.
During his career he has contributed to the development of the business in numerous spheres, including operations, engineering, management and new business development. Norbert is well known within the pipeline industry and principal markets around the world.
Dave Mackay
VP Operations
Dave has over 30 years experience in the welding, construction and fabrication. He first joined the pipeline industry in 1989 with Umax, and has subsequently fulfilled a variety of roles, prior to taking his current position of VP Operations for Serimax based in Paris.
Dave's experience includes some of the most challenging welding projects worldwide, and he overseen many projects that have delivered against the stringent requirements of deep water environments. Today, a key part of Dave's focus is to use his experience to promote operational excellence throughout the company and across all aspects of HSE.

Stéphane Allain
Vice President, Asia Pacific
Stéphane joined Serimer in 1996 as a Cost Estimating Engineer, and was promoted to Senior Project Manager in 2002. He has supervised a series of major projects primarily in South East Asia.
Since January 2007, Stéphane has been managed the Asia Pacific region, based in Singapore, covering all aspects of the business from sales to operations, internal logistics and client relationships.

Cyril Tigien
Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa / Commonwealth of Independent States
Cyril has worked with Serimax since 1996 when he joined as a welding engineer. In 2001 he became Operations Manager with responsibility for automatic welding on all Stolt (now Acergy) barges and special projects. From January 2005 to September 2006, Cyril was responsible for the welding and equipment Research and Development Department. In September 2006 he assumed responsibility for the North American operation of Serimax supporting landline, offshore and spoolbase operations.
He returned to Europe in 2007 to become Chief Commercial Officer responsible for marketing, price estimating and key account relationships. In November 2009, Cyril became Vice President of the EMEA/CIS Region based in Mitry-Mory.
Sean Lynch
Vice President, North and South America
Sean Lynch, a Chartered (UK) Welding Engineer, began his career in the automotive industry after gaining an MSc. in Welding Technology.
In 1997, Sean transferred into the oil and gas industry working for EMC/Saipem and later moving to PTL, gaining offshore and spoolbase base experience. He joined Serimax in 2006, where he led the Marine/Fabrication division for the NSA region, and has been a major contributor to the growth of the business over the past two years.

Les Dickson
Regional Manager, Northern Europe
Les is a Chartered Engineer with more than 35 years experience in the oil and gas industry. In that time, Les has managed a range projects both in the UK and abroad including Norway and the Gulf of Mexico. Significantly, many of these projects have involved the installation of pipelines in deep and ultra deep waters.
In 2011, Les was appointed Regional Manager for Serimax Northern Europe and Scandinavia based in Evanton, Scotland.
