Board of Directors

 

David Williams

Chief Executive Officer

Date of birth:		8 September 1953

David Williams joined Serimax as Non Executive Chairman in June 2004 at the time of the acquisition of Serimer (renamed Serimax in January 2007) by Lime Rock Partners and 4D Energy Partners.

David began his career working in shipbuilding on the River Tyne, before moving to the offshore industry in 1977 to work with WS Atkins & Partners and Taywood-Santa Fe Engineering. In 1985 he joined the private equity company 3i plc, becoming Managing Director for the Midlands and Southern Region in 2000.

 

 

Jacques Delahousse

Chief Financial Officer

Date of birth:		21 December 1967
Nationality:		French
Qualifications:		Civil Engineer - Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees, 1991 Masters Degree in Finance - Institut Etude Politique Paris, 1992

In October 2007, Jacques joined Serimax as Chief Financial Officer. Before he was Regional Chief Officer for Southern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America within Atos Origin : a major international group in the realm of IT services.

 

He has a degree from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, in Economy and Finances.

 

His career began in 1992 with the audit firm Arthur Andersen and the Lagardère Group. His career path also counts six years by Schlumberger, during which he was based in Rome, Jakarta and Paris.

Frédéric Castrec

Chief Technology Officer

Frédéric has worked for Serimax since 1996. He started with the company as a welding engineer on projects in North Sea and Africa. In 1998 he managed the first offshore projects outside our mother company ETPM (now Acergy) as Pescada for Conduto in Brazil and Resak for TL Offshore in Malaysia. Starting 2003, Frédéric has managed the marine operations.

 

He is now taking up his new position including equipment, R&D, methods, supply chain, production and technical training, in order to provide integrated and appropriate solutions to our project teams and customers.

Norbert Poirier

Vice President CISC Regions

Date of birth:		17 January 1949
Nationality:		French
Qualifications:		Welding Engineer (ESSA) Mechanical Engineer (ENI)

 

Norbert joined the Entrepose division in 1974 (before it became Serimax), where he was instrumental in the development of the Saturne and Saturnax automatic welding systems.

During his career he has contributed to the development of the business in numerous spheres, including operations, engineering, management and new business development. Norbert is well known within the pipeline industry and principal markets around the world.

 

  

Hamish Fraser

Regional Manager, North Europe, UK & Scandinavia 

Date of birth:		12 November 1950
Nationality:		British
Qualifications:		BSc Civil Engineering
		Diploma Management Studies

Hamish Fraser began his career in the civil engineering construction business in the UK and overseas. Since 1985 he has been involved in various aspects of pipeline fabrication and installation for the offshore oil and gas industry.

 

He joined Umax in 1998 and was part of the management team at the time of the acquisition of Umax by Serimer in 2006.

 

 

Stéphane Allain

Regional Manager, Pacific Asia

Qualifications:		Diploma of Mechanical Engineer from Isitem, Nantes
		Diploma of Welding Engineer from Ecole Supérieure de Soudage et de ses Applications
		Certificate of European Welding Engineer
		Certificate of International Welding Engineer

Stéphane Allain joined Serimer in 1996 as a Cost Estimating Engineer, and was promoted to Senior Project Manager in 2002. He has supervised a series of major projects primarily in South East Asia

Since January 2007, Stéphane has been Serimax Regional Manager for 
Pacific Asia, based in Singapore, covering all aspects of the business from sales to operations, internal logistics and client relationships.
